Compared to store-bought, pasture raised chicken has a higher nutritional profile with more Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A and E, and a lower ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids, while also containing less saturated fat due to their diverse diet of plants and insects they consume.

Our chickens are humanely raised in tractors. By limiting the number in each tractor they are left with more room to walk, peck, and spread their wings. They are moved to fresh pasture twice a day in order to receive all of the nutrients they need to become the superior chickens that they are.

Treat a chicken nicely, give it superior grain and lots of plants and insects to eat and you've ended up with something really special. Unlike some of the larger commercial producers, at Flying B Farm we have NO secrets and we are proud of the feed we use. New Country Organics Pastured Perfect Starter and Broiler is our feed of choice for all of our organically fed meaties. Nature Crest Chick Starter/Grower is our feed of choice for our other Non-GMO birds.
